Why Don't we publish Prices on Line?    

                McClure Tables are developed by people with over 30 years in the game room and home entertainment industry. A lot of consumers do not know the retail stores who sell pool tables usually sell shuffleboard tables. Many of the lines they carry also sell to Internet retailers. The only thing a web site can offer the consumer is a lower price. Ask yourself honestly if you could buy from your local dealer for the same price as on a web site would you take a chance with an on- line store? 

McClure tables do not sell on- line or direct to the public. We work through our retail dealers.  We will not sell to On- Line or Internet retail dealers so if you find anyone claim to have a McClure table or they have their tables made at the same factory this is not true. We do not make shuffleboard tables for anyone else. We manufacture a high quality shuffleboard table and in most cases our retail dealers will sell to you at a price that is very competitive with any Internet offer. 

What is the difference I see tables on Ebay and all over the Internet for very low prices?

You will often find many of these web sites claim the boards are made out of maple or even North American Maple. They will make these claims with no evidence or proof the board is actual maple. We have questioned some of them and they simply respond the manufacturer told them it was maple. You can still have fun with these shuffleboard tables. Just keep in mind that they will not give you a professional play and you did not get the same quality for several hundred dollars less. Also keep in mind many boards are not made properly. Why should I believe McClure tables claims?

My name is Todd McClure I am the owner of this company.  I believe in our product, which is why I have put my name on it.    We select the wood and then process it from the raw state to make the boards in a finger joint design in our own four way state –of- the -art German plane machine. We are the only shuffleboard manufacturer in the industry that I am aware of who process their own wood. Some manufacturers have the wood boards or planks made at a millwork, and then they glue the boards to make the playing surface. However many contract out the complete surface manufacturing process and they simply either distribute the board after it is finished, or put on the polymer topcoat.   This puts them at a cost disadvantage to our company.  This is why we can sell to our dealers at a price where they can compete even with Internet brands you may find. 

How Do I know the brand I am buying is reputable?

Do not believe what you see on the Internet. There are some reputable Internet dealers but you will not find that they carry off brand lines or boards that are made out of true maple. You will not see these sites carry lower priced shuffleboard tables or publish prices on line.  We do not sell to any on- line retail dealers because of our policy not to offer our boards through Internet retail dealers. We do this on line marketing to try to educate and inform the consumer and to promote our brand for our local retail dealers. You can find many boards for a low price but most of them are not maple. I would suggest any site you visit to look for customer referrals and feedback. Again always beware of on- line claims. Our goal is for our local dealers to be able to compete with the on- line retail dealers of other brands. There are other good brands of shuffleboard tables. We hope whatever you choose you enjoy the game and the table gives you many years of enjoyment.

What if I can not find a McClure dealer in my area on your dealer locator page?

We at McClure tables often answer email requests and phone calls from consumers who want to purchase our brand but cannot locate a dealer in their area.   In most cases we will try to find a local dealer to assist customers. Often we will quote a price, and then refer the customer to a local dealer so that the customer can get the service they deserve.  If we are unable to refer you to a local dealer, we can assist you.
