Wax and spray were necessary accessories to even out table speed. Careful, if you buy the faster wax for the longer boards but use it on the shorter boards, they do mean fast, like putting on the greens at Oakmont! The cover is a soft vinyl so it will sag over the length of the board, so unless you plan on wiping the wax off of the board everytime you cover, you will need to build a hard cover (lattice or plywood) and then use the vinyl cover overtop. More then anything, the information on the McClure website was very helpful, not only the video on board maintenance but also the demonstartion on climate adjustment. Wow, what a difference.
