The Tournament 18 Foot Mahogany Finish Shuffleboard Table

McClure Tables has dressed up the typical shuffleboard model with our Tournament model. We designed the 18 foot Tournament Shuffleboard table with a solid hard maple wood cabinet. You will not find any plastic or laminated material on the cabinet. It is made of all solid hard maple wood. We make the Tournament in Mahogany on Maple finish to complement any gameroom decor. As with all McClure shuffleboards we insist on only the best North American Hard Rock Maple to make the playing surface. We choose Hard Rock Maple on our entire line of tables playing surfaces, because strength and stability are the first requirement for any McClure Shuffleboard surface. Then all shuffleboards are finished with a special polymer finish that has a complete lifetime warranty. The Tournament has an optional electronic scoring unit that is available in matching maple finish. The score units all have state of the art electronics. McClure shuffleboards are built with the highest quality materials and old world craftsmanship. McClure Tables Shuffleboard manufactures world class quality second to none. The cabinet is two pieces and has three legs on this 14 foot shuffleboard table.

After researching shuffleboard table manufacturers on the web, I found the McClure site to be the most comprehensive and found that it described in detail exactly what to expect when purchasing one of their shuffleboards. After reading the material on the web, I contacted Todd McClure by phone to place my order and found him to be well informed and very pleasant to deal with. I ordered an 18' Tournament table on Tuesday afternoon - it arrived by Yellow Freight the following Monday. The contents were very well packaged - there was no damage at all. The playing surface was especially well protected with 2" x 6" framing around it! Set up was relatively easy - it took me about 3 hours to assemble and level the cabinet, put the climatic adjusters on the board and put the board in the cabinet - we played several sets on the table the same evening. This set is very well made and is very beautiful - it looks exactly as pictured on the web. It's also very heavy , so round up a few friends - I had 5 friends help me bring the playing surface into the house and install it in the cabinet. One tip that I have is to use wax or soap on the lag bolts when installing the climatic adjusters on the playing surface - that makes putting the lag bolts into the hard maple board much easier! Prior to purchasing this table, I had looked extensively at Champion tables sold by a local dealer. In my opinion, the McClure table is of higher quality than a similar Champion table and is a great value at about 1/2 of the price. I am very pleased with my experience in purchasing this table from McClure and would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends. Bill L. Fenton, MO.
